RESNET ® Courses

Courses for Code Officials, Architects, and Building Professionals

HERS Raters are playing a larger role in the residential construction industry. In the past Raters focused on verifying green buildings, but today they are also verifying compliance for the International Energy Conservation Codes (IECC). As the Rater’s role in the residential construction industry grows so does the need for a wider understanding of their qualifications.

The purpose of the HERS Advisor training programs is to provide comprehensive overview of the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET); its functions, stakeholders, member, and role in the residential construction industry to all stakeholders involved in the design, construction, and inspections of new homes.
